Well here it is Just to be fair!!
Here are Ortiz comments on February after the A-Rod’s name was release by the SI reporter:
February 17th: “I would suggest everybody get tested, not random, everybody,” he said. “You go team by team. You test everybody three, four times a year and that’s about it.” “Ban ’em for the whole year,” the slugger said.
Ohh my GOD what a difference a couple of months make!!!
July 30th: “Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz confirmed on Thursday that he tested positive for the use of performance-enhancing drugs, during Major League Baseball’s 2003 survey testing season, he said in a statement released by the club. “
I won’t lie to you guys being a A-rod fan all my life and knowing how hard he was treated by all the media and MLB fans (speciall Red Sox fans) eveywhere I’m not sad that Ortiz name is on the list too. I will not feel sorry about the guy, he tried to trashed A-rod and he got kicked in the *** the same way. But I have to tell you something this thing has to end NOW, I’m with Ozzie Guillen here: – “Can somebody in baseball, please, we’re all begging people, get that stupid list out and move on,” Guillen said Thursday. “This is ridiculous, this is embarrassing. It’s a joke. Whoever is there, get them out and that’s it. We’re going to continue to be alive, we’re going to continue to play the game, but sitting here every freaking day, every manager, every player responding to same question.” –
It’s time to Move on, MLB has to stop the bleeding and stop being the headline of every F!#$## newspaper and every ESPN breaking news!!
They have to sit down (MLB and the Players Union) and understand that even though the list was not supposed to be public, eventually sooner or later IT WILL BE. Nobody can come in here and say that the post doesn’t have the full list but they won’t release it because they love to have the info to use it every couple of months. Pay the NY post or some other news paper to publish all the names so this will be over and your hands will not get dirty (as dirty as that sounds) and then you won’t have to deal with a suit from the Player’s Union but DO SOMETHING NOW.
And don’t get me started with the Canseco’s comments “When you tell me something I didn’t already know, I’ll be surprised,” Canseco told ESPN. “And I’ll tell you this, Major League Baseball is going to have a big, big problem on their hands when they find out they have a Hall of Famer who’s used.”
